Hello, We are Rockingham United
Through a coalition of local churches and organizations the Rockingham United Mobile Food Market will provide relief from food insecurity by providing nutritional food for families in the communities in Rockingham county on a monthly basis. Each family will receive approximately 100lbs of food each month, much of which is fresh produce. In 2020 L.O.T. 2540 and Rockingham United distributed over 400,000 pounds of food, over 100,000 of which was fresh produce.
This program is much more than food, it is an opportunity for the community to come together to help their neighbors and build a healthier and stronger community. The success of this program is based on community involvement with local governments, churches, business and organizations.
